With over a decade of experience as a professional performance artist, Chanel Smith Sorenson draws inspiration from her recent engagement efforts to preserve Great Salt Lake. Chanel uses multiple artistic approaches; dance, theater, choreography, digital media, and production design, to generate work that explores and celebrates the thematic elements of the natural world.

Throughout her career, Chanel has performed professionally in Virginia, Washington DC, New York, and Auvillar, France. She is currently an instructor of various dance genres, theater, and choreography in Salt Lake Valley, Utah, and is open to new projects in the Salt Lake Valley area.
